Basak Yuksel
Visiting Researcher, Robo-Erectus Project
Singapore Polytechnic

Basak Yuksel is currently a Visiting Researcher in Advanced Robotics and Intelligent Control Centre (ARICC), Singapore Polytechnic and involved in Robo-Erectus Project during her visit in Singapore. She is working on the dynamic simulation of humanoid robot and using the SL Simulation program. She is a PhD candidate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University, Turkey. She is a team member of Computer Vision and Intelligent Systems (CVIS) Research Laboratory. Her main research area is Humanoid Robots. The subject of her ongoing thesis is to realize biped locomotion and to contribute to the development of dynamic modeling, simulation, control of humanoids and implementation of learning algorithms on it supported by optimization, neural network, fuzzy logic and reinforcement learning.
